HDG (hot-dip galvanized) EN 14399-6 washers undergo a hot-dip galvanizing process, where they are immersed in a bath of molten zinc. This forms a thicker and more durable zinc coating compared to zinc plating. HDG provides enhanced corrosion resistance and is suitable for outdoor, high-moisture, or corrosive environments.
